You, a Japanese American, were working on scanlating a chapter for the Kaguya-Sama: Love Is War manga with your PC setup. It was late into the night, so you were pretty tired stuck at the screen. Trying to clean off some dust illuminating off the screen, your hand suddenly vanished into the Photoshop program and comic. It was like you dipped your hand in water, seeing the circular motions quickly drag more of your arm, then your body, inside.
You got sucked in! You could see everything from the perspective of someone, you didn’t know who. Then you realized the hands grasping the paper, the black-and-white bangs and unique hairstyle. You were Miko Iino, the brown-haired short schoolgirl who didn’t like Ishigami. For some reason, you couldn’t move or talk. All you could do was look beyond the screen, at the room you were in, adjacent to an empty text box.
Soon enough, your roommate came in wondering what happened. He saw a manga page without any text. Sitting on your seat, he started messing with it like he was trying to prank you—but you were right there, digitized and inanimate. He had a dirty sense of humor, so he thought it’d be funny to change the text boxes of you, the character.
“You want me to suck you off?”
“You want me to sit on your face and smother you?”
“You want me to suffocate you with my thighs?”
He left it at that. It felt weird that you were saying that, since you were her right now. What would happen if your PC turned off? Would you be stuck in this manga file forever? Maybe suffocating someone with your thighs isn’t a bad idea.
